Character Design
I have always been an artist. It’s in my blood from my father, and my grandmother, and my interest in design started far before makeup. I started learning how to draw and create my own characters and worlds from a very young age, and character design is still something I’m deeply passionate about. My original goals were to become a concept artist, working as a part of collaborative teams for animation studios or film companies. Then I found my love for costumes and makeup, and my ability to create my own characters was transferred from the 2D world to the 3D world. As a design artist with the technical abilities to fabricate character-defining pieces, I can help you create your wildest fantasies while understanding real world technical challenges and limitations. Together we can make your story come to life.
SFX Prosthetic Fabrication
My adoration of cosplay and homemade prop design brought me to school for prosthetic fabrication at The Art of Makeup School in Lake Oswego, Oregon. I was taught by Rachael Wagner, a former contestant on Face Off. I can create life casts, sculpt features, and run both silicone and foam latex molds. I offer custom fabrication of runs or molds for facial prosthetics both silicone and cold foam, latex bald caps, pros aide transfers, and some production props as well as hair pieces. What can I bring to life for you?
SFX Application (Prosthetic, Non-prosthetic)
Besides creating characters on paper, I also love creating them in 3D. Whether it be complicated alien faces or a natural decade look, models and actors present as a unique canvas. Prosthetic application, bald caps, hair pieces, or makeup suited for film or stage- what can I create for you?
